ABOUT DAVE

Dave Marsh is Newtown’s Personal Training Manager, Head Coach, Mentor and Educator.

Starting with a sporting background in Rugby and athletics, he moved onto compete in “Strongman” and also “Men’s Physique”. Dave has a decade’s worth of coaching experience in strength- and resistance-based training, which he uses to help clients bulletproof their bodies and overcome dysfunction.

He also has a big passion for nutrition, which he uses to help clients get the most out of their training. Whether you want to drop 10kg, increase your strength or muscle mass, or overcome imbalance or dysfunction, Dave can help you start leading a healthier, happier life.

3 FUN FACTS

  1. I was a semi-professional Rugby player for 6 years, representing the south west of England, playing across France, Ireland and Dubai.
  2. Originally from the UK, I had a quarter-life crisis at 25, sold everything, bought a one-way ticket to Australia and never looked back.
  3. I competed in Strongman at 100kg body weight, squatting 150kg for 23 reps, 200kg deadlift for 15 reps and 100kg bench for 18 reps, coming 1st place in the south west of England.
